I’ve seen a lot of takes on heartstopper and yet there are barely any mentions of Charlie and his struggles. Like that 15 year old boy was bullied and assaulted to the point that he genuinely believes like his existence is a burden. He was outed against his will and knows how horrible it feels and is so fucking supportive of Nick throughout. He says ‘I’m sorry’ literally every 5 minutes because of all the trauma and truly believes that he has to be the one at fault when he has never done a single wrong thing-
That last scene where he tells Ben to fuckoff in the field is so fucking important because it takes so much strength to look your abuser in the eye and tell them to shove it up- and I’m so proud of charlie and I repeat?? Why is no one talking about Charlie Spring
